I think I have what you are looking for as the Replacement Driver's Side Rail # TX2720-LeftRail is the replacement for a TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # TX272001 that fits a 6-1/2' Chevrolet/ GMC bed.
For your 2012 Ram 2500 with the 8' bed it needs the Replacement Driver's Side Rail # TX2489-LeftRail. This will replace the drivers side rail of the TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # TX248901. You will need the serial number or date code off of your cover when placing the order to ensure that you get the correct rail as they have made modifications to the rails over the years. Serial numbers can be found on the front aluminum bar of the cover on the driver side.
