Updated 09/27/2021 | Published 09/26/2021

Question:

Part #: 87161 and Part #: 75082 Your installation video shows this hitch does not require drilling, but is showing installation on a 2008 Ford Ranger. I have 2001 Ford Ranger and need to know if these require drilling. Please advise.

Thank you for the photo that was helpful; on some models of Ranger drilling is required, but based on your photo, you will not have to drill in order to install the Draw-Tite hitch you asked about, which is the following part number:

- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75082

Your photo shows you already have the rear hole that is needed on the frame in order to avoid drilling.
