Attaching Peterson Trailer Tail Light Kit to Harness 118304 on 2009 Toyota Sienna
Updated 08/31/2009 | Published 08/30/2009 >
Question:
I bought from you the wiring harness 118304 for my Toyota Sienna. I need to buy a light kit for my trailer that will hook up to the 118304 4 pole flat trailer connector. I need the brake lights, turn signals and license plate set up. Will this Peterson Trailer Tail Light Kit connect into the 118304 4 pole connector and work properly once I attach the individual lights to the Light Kit harness with no splicing necessary? Recommendations? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Peterson trailer light kit, part 432800, or similar Optronics Trailer Light Kit, # TL29BK, has the proper connector to attach to the Wiring Harness part # 118304 that you installed on your 2009 Toyota Sienna. The side markers may have to be spliced in, but that can be done with the included Scotch-lok connectors.
I have included a link to a trailer wiring FAQ page.
