When your trailer hits rough roads, a good equalizer keeps things level and steady. This Dexter equalizer connects the slipper springs on your tandem or triple-axle setup, transferring load and impact evenly between the axles. The 24-3/4" length and 1-1/8" center hole allow the suspension to move as it should, so the ride stays smooth and controlled mile after mile.
Suspension parts take a beating under load, and this equalizer is built to take it. The solid steel construction gives it the durability to handle bumps, potholes, and long hauls without flexing or wearing out prematurely. It’s made to fit 3" wide slipper springs with 1" diameter eyes, giving you a sturdy, reliable connection point in the suspension system.
Nobody likes the clatter of metal-on-metal suspension parts. The rubber bushings pressed into the 1-1/8" center hole help cut down noise and vibration, so your trailer runs quieter and smoother. The result is a more comfortable towing experience with less harsh feedback through the frame.
This equalizer installs cleanly into the middle hanger using standard bolts (sold separately). The front spring’s arched end rests on a keeper bolt, while the rear spring attaches through the eye with a shackle bolt. It’s a straightforward design that fits left or right hand positions and keeps the suspension geometry correct so everything moves together as it should.
