Will the Progressive Dynamics RV Converters PD9245C Replace a 40 Amp Magnetek Converter/Charger?

Question:

I have a Magnetek b-w 40 amp converter charger in my 1990 terry th wheel and I need to change it out. would I be able to use the PD9245C? Also will I be able to use this converter in the winter months of upper Michigan without there being a problem? If so which converter charger would you recomend? Thank you

Though I was unable to find anything about your 40 amp Magnetek B-W converter/charger, the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger - 12V - 45 Amps # PD9245C will most likely be the best option we have available as a replacement. This will have a temperature storage range from -4 degrees at the minimum, all the way up to 176 degrees at the maximum. With an amperage output of 45 amps, it will nearly match your current 40 amp Magnetek as well.
