The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR does not include any wiring for connecting to your vehicle as you have found out already.
The Redarc Universal Wiring Harness # RED69FR (TPH-025) that you found will plug into the Tow-Pro Liberty controller and allow you to wire it to your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500.
If your Ram came with either the factory installed 4-way or 7-way harness you can use the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter # 3020-S to plug into the factory port underneath your dash. This plug is very difficult to find as it is tucked up way behind the emergency brake pedal. I have linked a video below that will help you to find this wiring. You will be able to splice together both the Redarc and Tekonsha harnesses matching the colors(red-red, black-black, white-white, blue-blue) to make your own custom wiring adapter.
If your Ram did not come with the factory trailer wiring you will still need the Redarc Harness # RED69FR, but will have to custom wire in your brake controller to the 7-way connector on the back of your Ram. Our Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 includes the 7-way and all the wiring components that you will need to install the brake controller on your Ram.
