Question:
I own a 2017 2500 short bed 2wd with the cummins.Im looking into a fifth wheel and would like to know if the Firestone has jounce stops? I would like a good ride when Im not towing.I like the way firestone is mounted.Any suggestions.Do I really need air suspension?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Firestone does not put jounce bumpers in their air springs like Air Lift, but to answer your other question directly you don't have to go with air springs for suspension enhancement but for your 2017 Ram 2500 it would be the best way to give you the support you want and allow you to tailor your ride quality to balance support and smoothness.
So for that the Firestone kit part # F2598 that you referenced would be your best option.
