Question:
I want to use the SS66RR on the front of my 2018 chevy suburban 1500 4wd, I understand it is an off label use and all of that, but if they fit in the pocket properly, any reason not to use them? I believe GM may use various oem front control arms depending on production run, so the SS66RR may not fit every part used in every production run.... but if I measure and they fit my truck, any other reason not to use them?

Hey Edward!
As long as you've got the understanding that the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS66RR aren't a confirmed fit for your 2018 Suburban, I have no problems with you trying it out. Worst case is you try them out and they don't fit.
I will say that the correct front suspension enhancement for your Suburban is the Timbren Kit # TGMFK15B, so it's what I recommend using instead of the SumoSprings.
If you end up going with the SumoSprings I'd love to hear what you find out!

Turns out the oem lower control arms on my Suburban are not the ones that will accept the SS66RRs. I am told there are some that are compatible, but I remain skeptical. After removing the front drivers side wheel, it was easy to see, no 'cup' for the Sumos to seat in. I had not yet opened the box and the return process was simple. I was able to clearly see the location the Timbren kit fits. I will go ahead and order the Timbren Kit # TGMFK15B as you advised, if it turns out to be a bit harsh on my med. duty truck, I wonder if anyone has ever tried fitting the SumoSprings Builder Kit special order stops (SFR-100-40/47/54) on the Timbren bracket? That approach looks promising. Thanks
