Choosing the correct amount of drop for your ball mount will depend on a few things.

First, with the tow vehicle parked on level ground, you will need to measure from the ground to the top of your hitch receiver opening.

Next, with the trailer level, measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler.

You will then subtract the coupler measurement from the hitch measurement. This will get you the amount of drop needed to tow the trailer as level as possible.

With all that being said, the Flash Solid Steel Adjustable 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch # FA49-00-5900 will have 10 inches of drop and is rated up to 12,000 pounds. If you tow multiple trailers within 10 inches from being level with your truck, this will be a great option.
