It’s built from 6061 T6 aluminum that keeps weight down while still delivering the same high capacity as heavier steel mounts.
Instead of swapping out hitches every time, this one has both a 2" and a 2-5/16" ball built into the same platform. You just pull the pins, rotate the platform, and reinsert—it’s that quick. It makes switching between trailers easier and keeps your gear simple and organized.
Road grime and moisture can ruin lesser mounts over time. This one resists corrosion thanks to its polished aluminum construction that won’t rust or flake. The tight machining tolerances give it a snug fit in your 2" x 2" receiver, and at about 17 lb total weight, it’s easy to handle and install whenever you need it.
If you use Rock Tamers mud flaps or similar accessories, this hitch works fine with them. The set screws might leave light marks on the aluminum surface, but they’ll be hidden under the clamp collar once installed. It’s a clean setup that keeps your tailgate area protected from debris while towing.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the BulletProof Hitches aluminum adjustable two-ball mount with a two inch drop or rise for a two inch hitch. Has a 14,000 pound maximum gross towing weight capacity. Now, this aluminum two-ball mount is designed to slide into your two inch hitch receiver. That'll let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. Now, the hitch pin and clip or the hitch lock, which is used to secure this to your hitch receiver, is not included.
We do sell those separately on our website. This does have a hitch pin hole diameter of 5/8 of an inch. Now, the hitch ball is up front. This is what'll provide the connection point for your trailer coupler. And it is two different size polished aluminum hitch balls that'll let you tow trailers with different coupler sizes.
You can choose between the larger 2-5/16 inch ball, or if you flip it over to the two inch diameter hitch ball. And to switch to the ball size you need, all you do is simply remove these two pins and clips. Pull out the pins, rotate the ball platform to what ball size you need. Slide the pins back in, put your clips in and you're all ready to go. And if you notice the adjustment holes right here, it'll let you adjust these in one inch increments.
That's the measurement from the center of one hole to the center of the one next to it. Now, I did wanna show you the pins. They are nice pins. I wanna slide them out and show you. They are 5/8 inch diameter, corrosion resistant, hardened steel pins.
They feature a nice nickel undercoat. They have a zinc plating top coat for best corrosion resistance. And once you get them lined up, you just slide it all the way through. Take your clip on the other end, line it up with the hole and then just push it through there and it's locked and ready to go. Now, the gross towing weight on this ball mount is gonna depend on the ball size you use. So if you use the larger 2-5/16 diameter ball, get you a 14,000 pound gross towing weight capacity with a tongue weight of 2,000 pounds. If you flip it over and use the smaller two inch diameter ball, get you a 10,000 pound gross towing weight capacity maximum and a tongue weight of 2,000 pounds. Now, we mentioned the adjustable height right here. This will let you tow trailers of different heights. with the same vehicle. The amount of work in either the drop position, like I have it in here now, or if you flip it over and slide it into the rise position, it'll get you a maximum drop of two inches or you flip it over a maximum rise of two inches. Basically you just slide the small platform up and down the shank, secure in place with those pins and clips and you're all ready to go. Now, this is constructed of a lightweight, high strength aluminum to resist corrosion. Again, the application, it's a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. And the last thing I wanna do is give you some measurements. We're gonna measure from the center of the ball to the hitch pin holes to the closest one and to the furthest one. So if we go center from the furthest hole to the center of the ball hole, it's gonna get you 9-1/4 inches. And if we go from the closest one center to center to the ball is eight inches. But that's gonna do it for our look at this BulletProof Hitches aluminum adjustable two-ball mount with a two inch drop or rise for your two inch hitch receiver.

I ordered one that was used and it stated minor scratches or blemishes with perhaps some packaging issues. It arrived very timely and in excellent condition. I found no, none, not any blemishes or scratches. It looks brand new. Packaging was in very good shape with perhaps a little more tape but very solid. It will be mounted on my Ram 2500 so I can hitch up to any size of trailer.
Second hitch of this type/brand I’ve bought from you through the years. Love the look style and durability of these hitches. Get the locking pins so no one else loves itmore and takes off with it.

While I haven’t actually used the hitch yet, it looks to be very well made. I chose this Bulletproof adjustable hitch so I could better level my trailer. It fit perfectly on my vehicle and I look forward to hauling with this unit.

Love that the aluminum hitch is lighter than the steel hitch. I had noticed with friends hitches that the black paint on the hitch ball wore off and rust followed. I am hoping that doesn't happen with the chrome hitch. The anti-rattle bracket "just fits" when the pin is in the first hole. I had looked at other anti-rattle brackets that might have worked and noticed that most tended to bend over time.
