Features to know about

Keeps Every Trailer Level: 6" Rise or 6" Drop

Switching between different trailers means the coupler height is never the same twice. With up to 6" of rise or drop in 1" increments, you can dial in the perfect height every time. The reversible design keeps your trailer level, whether you’re hauling a small utility rig or a loaded equipment trailer. That balance translates to smoother tracking, better braking, and less bounce on rough roads.

Handles Heavy Loads Without Flinching: Rated for 14,000 lbs

When you’re pulling serious weight, the mount has to hold up. This one’s rated for 14,000 lbs gross towing weight on the 2-5/16" ball and 7,500 lbs on the 2" ball. Tongue weights come in at 1,400 lbs and 750 lbs respectively. That strength covers most large loads without worry—just hook up and go knowing the mount’s built for it.

Tows Multiple Trailers with One Setup: Dual-Ball Design

Instead of keeping a pile of mounts in the back seat, this one gives you both a 2" and a 2-5/16" ball on a reversible platform. Flip to the size you need and hit the road—no extra tools or hardware swaps. It fits standard Class IV and V 2" receivers and stays solidly in place for every haul.

Built to Last Through Salt, Mud, and Miles: Blackout Powder-Coated Finish

Rust and pitting can ruin a hitch fast if it isn’t protected. This mount’s aluminum body wears a blackout powder-coated finish that’s rated for 700 hours of salt spray. It stands up to winter road salt, gravel lots, and long towing seasons without flaking or corroding, so you’re not replacing it every year.

Simple to Secure: Standard Pin Hole Setup

The shank uses a standard 5/8" pin hole and installs cleanly in any 2" receiver. Use your own hitch pin and clip (not included), lock it down, and you’re ready to tow. Two pin holes give you options for positioning—11.5" or 13" from the pin hole to the ball center—so you can line up your trailer just right.

Video Transcript for Review of Trailer Valet Trailer Hitch Ball Mount - Adjustable Ball Mount - TV26FR

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Trailer Valet adjustable two-ball mount. It is a 2-inch shank or a 2-inch hitch, and it has a 6-inch rise or 6-inch drop option. It's rated at 14,000 pounds. So folks, that 14,000-pound capacity is going to be great for heavy-duty trailers, maybe large travel trailers, equipment trailers, those kind of things. And the multiple ball sizes, again, you have the 2-5/16 that's on top right now, and a 2-inch ball.

And those will fit varied trailer couplers. The 2-inch receiver here is going to be perfect for SUVs, trucks, and 2-inch hitches. Now, the adjustable height here, you can simply pull the two pins over here on the side. And then once you pull those out, you could then raise or lower the head unit as needed. I'm going to go ahead and put it back in the same position, just because it's balanced better for the tabletop here today.

And you can also then flip this over if you wanted to, and then put it as the 2-inch ball versus the 2-5/16 ball as well. And then we're going to put our safety pins back in, our safety clips rather. Now, if you notice the powder coat finish on this is a very elegant finish, has a little grip to it. They call it a wrinkle kind of finish. I don't know why they call wrinkle, but that's just what the name is.

And it has some grip to it, like I said, and it's very different than just a smooth one. I like it, actually, gives a little bit more grip when you're holding it and carrying it. And like I said, you could also take it out, mount it in the rise position as needed. You got the hitch pin here with two different hole options there, so you have a variety of options as far as how far back you need to mount it for it to hang out and all that kind of stuff. The 2-inch ball is rated at 7,500 pounds gross towing weight, while the 2-5/16-inch ball is rated at that 14,000 pound tongue weight.

Folks, that is going to wrap it up for our quick look together. Again, this is the Trailer Valet adjustable ball mount, two balls included. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

@MarkG Ah, gotcha! Congratulations on the new boat! Do you plan on taking it out for the Fourth of July?

by:

Heavy duty rig that works well. Used with receiver clamp to lock in place. Quality of meterials and welds surprised at this price point. Recommend for your flat tow needs.

by:

Now I can tow my 24 ft boat with confidence. My old hitch worked but had no info on ratings. Looks good and very capable.

by:

I am not going to lie, I was really surprised how easy it is to adjust. I like the fact that there’s two pins to hold it in place. I did replace one of the pins with a locking pin, just so it didn’t sprout legs.
