Could TorkLift GlowStep 6 Step Be Used on House

Question:
Hello, I am trying to find temporary back steps from my back door to the back yard. It is a 54inch onto ground and rocky grass. If I gravel the ground where the stair footing will be, do you think this product would work on a temporary basis? I am planning to eventually build a deck so I dont want to spend a lot of money building permanent stairs for this. I just want to be able to get to the back yard from my back door when I need to. Please advise. Thank you.

Since your doorway height is 54 inches yes the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps # TLA7836 would work and would be fine with the gravel on the ground.
