Will this work on a 2017 2500 ram with a 6.5 foot bed?I want to put a puck system in.I do not have anything in my bed now.

The only way the Reese M5 fifth wheel hitch part # RP30918 could fit your 2017 Ram 2500 is if you had Ram install the Mopar rail kit at a Ram dealer. They will install it after the fact so this would work.
Otherwise to do an underbed fifth wheel hitch setup you'd need the B and W Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3400 for a slider or # BWRVK3500 for a fixed hitch and then for the rail kit part # BWGNRK1384.
