Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2014 Ram 2500 with Prep Package and RamBox

Question:

How can I tell if my truck has a factory prep for the 30160 hitch? I have a Ram 2500 2014 with Ram box storage My truck does have the factory prep cross member for the goose neck ball

I have attached a photo of what the factory prep package for a 2014 Ram 2500 looks like. The package consists of five predrilled holes which will be used for a 5th wheel hitch or gooseneck hitch ball. If you do have the factory prep package then the Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package part # RP30918 is exactly what you need. This hitch has a single-piece forged jaw, extra wide funnel, and pivoting head. The best feature of this hitch however is that it can be adjusted to give you up to 18-1/2" of height which will be needed to clear the RamBox you have.
