Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Ram 3500 Long Bed with Hitch Prep Package

Question:
Is there a way that I can make this work with a 2014 Ram with their fifth wheel prep option, or do I have buy a new hitch?

The Ram hitch prep package of your 2014 Ram 3500 has much wider spaced install-pucks than the standard Elite hitch foot print so you would have to go with a new hitch. What you would need is the Reese Hitch part # RP30918 as this is a similar style hitch that would fit your OEM rail kit.
Since you have a long bed truck you would not need a slider hitch. I attached a review video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
