Differences Between Peterson 432200 6-Function and 432400 7-Function Trailer Taillights

Question:

Why is the drivers side a 7 function but the passenger a 6? Do i buy one of each?

Expert Reply:

The driver's side lamp, part # 432400 has an additional function that the # 432200 passenger side lamp does not. The driver's side features a clear lens on the underside of the lamp housing that would illuminate a license plate mounted underneath it. I've provided a photo showing the difference.

You would indeed want to purchase one of each.
