You need a winch that won't quit when the job gets tough. This 1,500-lb brake winch locks your load in place to prevent rollback, and dual handles let you switch sides for better leverage. Zinc finish resists rust for lasting use.
Need more control when winching? This model has two handles to give you the flexibility to crank from either side. Whether you're working in tight spaces, need extra leverage, or just prefer a different grip, the dual-handle design makes operation smoother and more convenient. This is especially useful when securing heavy loads, because it allows you to adjust your position for the best angle and most comfortable cranking motion.
When you're hauling heavy loads, you need a winch that can handle the job from start to finish. This winch delivers 1,500 lbs of pulling power when the cable is at its first wrap around the drum. As the drum fills with more layers of cable, capacity decreases slightly, so keeping the first layer in play ensures maximum strength.
No one wants to fight against rollback when securing a load. The built-in automatic load-holding brake locks the cable in place when you stop cranking, keeping your load secure and stable. Whether you're raising a heavy gate, securing a trailer, or lifting cargo, you won't have to worry about slipping or backdrive. Just crank to your desired position, let go, and trust the brake to hold everything safely in place.
If you're using your winch in rain, mud, or marine environments, rust and corrosion are real concerns. The zinc coating protects the metal components from exposure to the elements, ensuring long-lasting durability. Whether it's mounted on a boat trailer, farm equipment, or utility rig, this corrosion-resistant finish will your winch working smoothly for years.
Replacing an old winch? No need to drill new holes or struggle with fitment. Adjustable slotted mounting holes make installation quick and simple, allowing it to fit a variety of trailer and equipment setups. Whether you're upgrading or replacing a worn-out winch, this one is designed to bolt right into place with minimal effort.
Cranking a winch shouldn't feel like an arm workout. The ergonomically designed grooved handle provides a comfortable, secure grip, making it easier to crank without hand fatigue. Whether you're using it for a quick job or working with it all day, this handle gives you better control and less strain on your hands.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our very own etrailer High-Performance Brake Winch. It features dual handles, and it's rated at 1500 pounds capacity. So folks, the dual handles are gonna make it great for giving you easier operation. It's gonna be able to give you better control, more power or strength, as you will, to crank it.
And let's say you're in a tight spot and you can only reach one side, then you can easily just do one side as needed. (metal clanking) Let me just wind back up here. There we go. And you could crank from one side of the winch (winch clicking) if that's all you had access to. Now I just have these handles loosely put on here.
You do get both handles included. There is a one for one side only versus the other one, meaning one hole you can see is a little bit bigger than the other, so you'll wanna make sure you'll match them up appropriately. And then obviously, it's very, very smooth operation. It's gonna be easy to operate. Now this does not come with any kind of cable or anything like that.
You would need to purchase that separately, and you can get that here at etrailer.com as well. It does feature an automatic load holding brake, so that means whenever you stop cranking, it's not gonna roll back, smack your hand, or anything like that. So it's gonna give you a very safe operation. It has a great durable zinc finish over everything, so it's corrosion resistant. It's not gonna rust or anything on you anytime soon.
Now coming up from the bottom, just like every winch has that I've seen out there nowadays, you have slotted holes and that's gonna be great for positioning it to match up your specific mounting pattern that you probably already have on your trailer. Now if you're adding it from scratch, it's gonna be a lot more quicker, you know, once you just mark your spots and drill your holes and bolt it in place. Same thing, no hardware included for bolting it in place. You should already have hardware. If not, you can pick it up at your local hardware store or you can source that here at etrailer as well separately. Well folks, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look together at the etrailer High-Performance Brake Winch. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.
