Question:
I’m looking for a trailer hitch for my 2017 Hyundai ioniq, and I don’t see that model listed anywhere on your site. I think it’s the same body style as the Sonata, so I’m wondering if the Sonata hitch might be compatible on the ioniq? I have an e-bike I want to haul around, so I would like a sturdy receiver hitch. Thanks!

There is a trailer hitch available for your 2017 Hyundai Ioniq as long it is not the Electric model, but the trailer hitch for a Hyundai Sonata will not fit due to differences in the vehicle attachment points. If you have an electric model there is not a trailer hitch receiver currently available, so you will need to use a different vehicle to transport your e-Bike.
You will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11486 which has a 200lb tongue weight rating so it will be able to carry a bike rack with your e-Bike.
Now since this hitch is a Class I hitch there is only a few bike racks that available that will be compatible and be strong enough to carry your e-Bike.
I recommend the Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # SA4025F which can accommodate two bikes weighing up to 60lbs each so it is perfect for an e-Bike, and it is compatible with a Class I hitch. This rack weighs in at 30lbs, and with a total 120lb bike capacity it will only ever have a max weight of 150lbs which is well under the max of the above trailer hitch.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
