Question:

I have a MicroSport trailer that came with Thule Squarebar load bars. The brackets are black in color. Looking for replacement since I overtightened and bent one of the brackets. Thanks.

The Replacement HD Crossbar Brackets for Malone Trailers # MAL54VR you were looking at are the correct replacement brackets for the Malone MicroSport trailer # MPG460G. These are the brackets that come with the Crossbars for Malone MicroSport Trailers - 78" Long - Galvanized - Heavy Duty # MPG4001.

When it comes to the Thule load bars you're referring to, they were not designed for use with these brackets and there likely won't be a solution without some sort of modification made to the brackets. I will say that it's fairly likely that the brackets used to mount were either the original brackets or fabricated by the previous owner to make work.
