Are Adapters Needed to Mount Yakima BigCatch Kayak Rack to Malone MicroSport Low Bed Trailer

Do I need special adapters to connect the Yakima Big Catch to the Malone Microsport Low Bed Trailer? Is there a maximum crossbar spread for these saddles? I know the minimum is 27, but I thought I had read an Etrailer response that the crossbar spread on the Malone trailer is too far apart.

Nope, you do not need any type of adapter to mount the Yakima BigCatch Kayak Carrier # Y04091 with the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MPG464-LB.
There is also not a maximum crossbar spread for the saddles; there is the 27 inch minimum like you said, but no maximum so the 44" - 63" spread of the LowBed trailer will work with the BigCatch.
