Is There Replacement U-bolts And Bracket For Malone Tongue Mounted Crossbar?

Question:
Are the U-bolts and mounting plates that are supplied with the Tongue Mounted Crossbar for Malone MicroSport Trailers - 78inch Longfoot available to purchase separately? I want to convert a boat trailer to a kayak/canoe trailer using the Malone trailer crossbar conversion kit - but I need to mount the forward crossbar on the tongue. I dont want to have to purchase the entire tongue mounted crossbar kit just to get the U-bolts and mounting plates, as I dont need three sets of cross-bars on the trailer.

Unfortunately Malone does not offer a replacement U-bolt and mounting plate kit for the Tongue Mounted Crossbar for Malone MicroSport Trailers - 78" Long # MPG4002. Your best bet is to go to your local hardware and find some U-bolts of the same size along with matching hardware. Then find a fabricator or machine shop that can replicate the mounting bracket or you can try to tackle it yourself if you are handy with that sort of thing.
