Question:
If I upgrade the tires for a malone microsport carrying 2 fishing kayaks will I be able to exceed the 65mph rating? I need to go closer to 75mph to keep up with traffic. My typical fishing trip is between 50 and 70 miles each way, mostly highway driving. If higher speed rated tires isnt enough can you offer any other upgrade suggestions to the current trailer?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, by installing 2 of the Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tires # TT48012C on your Malone MicroSport Trailer # MPG461B2 you will be able to drive faster on the road. These tires are speed rated up to 81mph so you will not be limited to the speed of the current tires 65mph speed rating you have.
We also have a Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel # AM20134 you can combine with the Taskmaster # TT48012C tire to have a spare wheel and tire in the event of a flat.
