Question:

Thank you for your time and help. I need two tires for a Malone microsport trailer. The tire size is 4.80-12 and the bolt pattern, I think is 5 on 4 1/2 please confirm if this is the correct pattern or let me know if it is another pattter Please recommend a brand that you sell and trust. Would it be best to just purchase the tires and pay a local garage to place them on the factory wheels? If so please also recommend valve stems. I anticipate short trips, bit if their is a tire sutible for longer trips I would be interested. Best and thanks Jim

We actually carry the spare tire that fits the Malone MicroSport Trailer # MPG460G. The spare is # MPG465 and does have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.

With that being said it would be more cost effective for you to purchase two 4.80-12 trailer tires, like # TTWSF48012C, and have them mounted to the existing rims. If you need valve stems, # AM20904 will handle the 80 psi needed for these tires. I recommend these Taskmasters because they have an 81 mph speed rating, which is higher than a lot of trailer tires.
