What Direction Does the RV Check Valve for Fresh Water Systems Flow

Question:

What does the arrow imprinted on the side of the actual brass valve represent? It usually represents the direction of the flow of the water, but your diagram and video seem to say the flow is the opposite of the arrow imprinted. Can you clarify? Looking to use this on the 12 volt water pump for an rv. RV Check Valve for Fresh Water Systems - 1/2inch MPT x 1/2inch FPT - Brass Item # 37262195 Thanks.

The arrow on the RV Check Valve for Fresh Water Systems # 37262195 is confusing but it actually shows the direction the water WON'T flow and not the direction it does flow. It is an odd way to illustrate the function of the valve but we confirmed this with the manufacturer recently.
