What Are The Error Codes For The Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit?

Updated 02/19/2026 | Published 03/16/2025

Question:

What are the error codes for the furion chill cube rooftop AC? Just installed one on my pop up. It runs for a couple of minutes then shuts off with what looks like an h3 code and another one I didnt catch. If I shut it off I can turn it back on and it will do the same thing

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. I checked with my contact at Lippert and I was told they do not have a reference sheet for the Furrion Chill Cube error codes. They did say that "H3" would be a new error code that they have not seen before, and that more information would be needed to determine the correct steps. Your best bet here will be to reach out directly to Lippert (who makes Furrion). Their techs will be able to help you diagnose and troubleshoot the issue.

I had the same error code when I installed my Furrion Chill Cube. Furrion tech support said the code means "Fan speed out of control for indoor unit." He told me to check for the fan being loose, not being bolted in properly, or a bent shaft. When I lowered the air distribution box and turned the unit on, I could see the insulating block was pushed up against the squirrel cage, stopping the fan. I had not cut enough off the insulating spacer and when everything was assembled, it pushed everything upward into the squirrel cage. I had to dismantle everything and trim down the board.

@Craig Hey Craig. I am sorry to hear you had to go through that, but I am glad to hear you got it figured out. I also really appreciate you sharing because I am sure this will be extremely helpful for others who may experience the same issue.

I just installed the Furrion Chill Cube and the thermostat and I get the H3 code when the 120VAC is disconnected, seems to be an issue with the 12 VDC the AC unit produces being absent when on 12 VDC power. I will reach out to Lippert to see what the recommend but the information they supply with the unit is lacking in almost every regard.

@Mik6 Ah ok that is good to know. It did strike me as a bit odd that Lippert didn't have any info in this error code. The Chill Cube is quite new to the market so there have not been a lot of people report back to us with what the error codes mean. I am sure better info will be available once they have been on the market for longer. If you get a chance, I would be interested to know what you find out from Lippert. I'm not sure if you saw the comment below from another one of our neighbors, but here is what they said regarding the H3 error code: " I had the same error code when I installed my Furrion Chill Cube. @JesseM Had same issue. Pulled outer cover to look fan motor obstruction. Sure enough a piece of insulation had wrapped up in the outer fan. Appears to have come from around the compressor - was later confirmed by Lippert as to where it was supposed to be. Held in place by velcro. Now held in place by stainless band straps

@Don Hey Don, thanks for sharing! This is definitely a good bit of information to have on here since it seems like this H3 error code is popping up more and more. Glad to hear you got it sorted out though. Come back anytime you need anything!

@ErrorW Based on what we have gathered, the EH error code likely means a fan obstruction.

@Keldon I did find one reference in a forum online that indicated the PC01 error code is a power issue, and can be resolved by charging your batteries. If this does not resolve the issue, I suggest you reach out directly to Lippert (Furrion) so their techs can help you troubleshoot while you are there inside your RV.

I purchased the FR69TD (ducted) two weeks ago from Etrailer.com to replace a failing Furrion (older) AC for our camper. Installed it and upon powering it up, had the error code EH 06 flashing. The air box turns on but the actual AC has yet to power on. I wanted to post this here because I couldnt find true info on this error code. I see some mention of the fan being obstructed but Furrion said that is definitely not the issue... Its a PCB board issue According to Furrion (Lippert) tech support its either the Air Duct Box PCB or the main PCB unit in the air conditioner. They are not communicating hence the EH 06 code. Now I am still in the process of this whole thing but I will update what works and what does not as I go through this journey. So far this has been a huge pain because when you buy something new, you expect it to work out of the box! Lets see how this plays out as I have a camping trip coming up and yet to have an AC that works. First step, (call Furrion before you do this, I am just telling you what they told me to do) you have to check if all of the connecters are properly seated on the PCB in the air duct box (this was really easy to do). Upon checking this, I did find a black wire that was outside of the housing unit and it was pinched. I didnt think it was pinched enough to cause an issue but it was a potential weak point. Furrion wanted a picture of this so I sent it to them. I called Furrion, they were going to send the part but it will take 2 to 3 weeks. I called etrailer.com and they sent a new Air Duct box out (this comes in its own box like the thermostat so its easy to replace). I received the new air box duct within a few days (thanks etrailer). Installed the new part last night and I still have the EH 06 error. This morning I called Furrion and told them it was not the air duct box, they now say its the PCB board in the AC unit that is bad. next Furrion told me to call etailer as they should have the main AC PCB part 2024041618 in stock. Called Etrailer and they couldn't find the part # in their system so back to Furrion, they processed the replacement for the main AC PCB board. Just an FYI Furrion did not have me check to see if the main PCB board in the AC to make sure it has all the connectors properly seated, I am going to try and do this today. I am in a dilemma now, ask etrailer to replace the unit (maybe not sure they will do this, I have the request in) or order the PCB board from Furrion. Replacing the unit is a huge pain to get the new AC unit on the roof and get the old one off (I dont have a fork lift or any easy way. Took half the family to help with the old one and this new one). In the mean time, I ordered the PCB board from Furrion but by the time I get that (they ship SUPER SLOW) I will probably pass my reserved camp day. Wanted to share this so if anyone else has the misfortune of having this EH 06 error code, you have some direction on what to do and what will happen. I will update this once I have more information. Thanks all
