Question:
After removal of the interior passenger kick panel on my 2012 Nissan Frontier SV, initial inspection revealed all wires are connected, I could not find a 12 plug connecter as per instructions on the C56225 wiring kit.

The 12 pin connector may not be easily visible. You may need to fish around a little for it because it can be hiding behind other harnesses or tucked up higher. If you do find a harness that matches the one on harness # C56225 but it is already plugged into something it is possible that your 2012 Nissan Frontier has the factory tow package, or at least some components of it. If you plug in the 4-Way end in the back and it works, then you will know that the truck did have the harness and relays installed.
I have included a link to a typical installation of this harness for you.
If you cannot find the correct connector behind the kick panel and the 4-Way end does not work (indicating the truck does not have the factory tow package) then the alternative is to install a hardwire harness # C59236.
