can you use any ball mounts with this? i have a 5foot ball mount now and a straight ball mount, 1 for each trailer i tow regularly, if this works as i hope i would be able to just carry the 1 ball mount and move it up and down as needed. thank you

You can use any standard ball mount with your Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop/Rise - 16K # 325-GH-503 or you can use the ball mount that typically comes with this system which is available with the Replacement 2-Ball Mount for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mounts w/ 2" Receivers - 16,000 lbs # 325-GH-051. This is a ball mount that comes with both 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls to allow you to tow a variety of trailers as well.
