Question:
2023 Chevy 3500 SRW Diesel 4x4 I bumper pull a travel trailer. It seems there is a lot of play in the hitch up and down. I pull a 37 camper a lot. After purchasing a bulletproof adjustable hitch, I realized I dont need and up or down. I also have an airlift system with the compressor. I need a better fit or other solution. Can you recommend a straight hitch with 2 5/16 ball for 14k lbs or more? Should I go overkill and install a 20k lbs? Thank you

Hey David, so if you don't actually need any drop or rise then I'd suggest using a straight ball mount like the Gen-Y 2-Ball Mount for 2" Hitch Receivers # 325-GH-054.
This ball mount includes two hitch balls, a 2" and a 2 5/16". When using the 2 5/16" ball you'll have a 16k capacity which I think is plenty for your trailer. I don't think you quite need a 20k ball mount, especially if you're looking at a ball mount that is 14k or higher.

I have a 2 1/2" hitch opening. Anything for that?
