Will the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Adapter Work w/ a Bike Rack and Extended Ball Mount?

Question:

Will this dual hitch receiver accept a 1UP bike rack and a Reese 80232 Hitch extension? Several reviewers mentioned that the inside corners were rounded and unable to accept certain hitch accessories.

Yes, on the bike rack but no on the Hidden Hitch Ball Mount item # 80232. You can't tow a trailer with the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter item # RM-077-2 anyways. That is only designed to be used for flat-towing plus you will lose half of your hitch's capacity because it's an adapter.

Instead, you will want to use the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount item # 325-GH-303. This will have no impact on your hitch's capacity, has a 10,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 1,500 lbs maximum tongue weight.

The Gen-Y item # 325-GH-303 has three stacked 2" receivers that are the same height distance apart as the item # RM-077-2. It also offers a 5" rise and drop. Your Hidden Hitch Ball Mount item # 80232 will work with this set up.
