The Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs # SE96FR is capable of priming itself up to a 6' vertical incline. This means that the pump can be located 6' above the water source. Remember that ay your tank does drain that if the vertical height becomes over 6' that it may not work properly, so make sure that the 6' vertical is to the bottom of your tank.
I recommend also grabbing a spare Seaflo Inline Filter # SE39FR this will come in handy in case the filter on it becomes damaged while you are out. This will ensure that you continue to protect the pump from large particles damaging the pump.
