A water pump is needed to get the water from your RV or boat's fresh water holding tank up to your faucets. This automatic pump from Seaflo not only performs this task, but it also ensures a consistent flow and high-volume output for up to 4 fixtures. This means you can run your shower and your kitchen faucet at the same time without losing pressure. It's also energy efficient and runs quietly.

Seaflo pumps for RV fixtures

No-Mess Self-Priming

There are 2 types of pumps you can get for your RV: one that requires manually priming every time you run your fresh water tank dry, and one that primes automatically. Manual priming requires that you pour water into the pump, which can be inconvenient and messy. This pump primes itself, keeping you and your RV clean and dry.

Worry-Free Operation

Seaflo uses an automatic start-and-stop pressure switch that lets the pump run dry long enough to self-prime. If you turn your water on and realize you've unknowingly run your fresh water tank dry, the pump can run dry without damage while you shut the faucet and the pump off. The pressure switch also protects the pump motor from overheating when the water has been on for a while. So, if one of your kids leaves the faucet on, you're going to town with the washdown hose, or your teen takes a long shower (despite your asking them to conserve water), the pump will kick off when it starts to get hot. Once the motor has cooled, it will automatically come back on if the faucet or shower is still turned on.

To use this pump once it's installed, you only have to turn the water on!

Quick Tips: Some of our neighbors suggest unplugging this pump when you're traveling to prevent it from turning on accidentally if your faucets shake. And some of our feline-loving friends also recommend unplugging the unit any time you leave your cats unsupervised.

Installation

This pump can be installed on the floor, under a cabinet, or on the wall. Because this pump has a vertical, priming lift, you can install it up to 6' above your fresh water tank. Just make sure to measure 6' from the bottom of your holding tank. This is where the intake fitting will sit.

Pump feet and mounting pattern

Once you've determined the pump's location, it can be secured to its new home with 4 screws (not included).

Filter

A filter is included to prevent debris from entering the pump. To install this, just screw it inline with the inlet port.

The fittings on this pump are male NPT ports. Screw the 1/2"-14 NPT hose barbs onto the pump fittings. The hose barb fittings have wingnuts to make it easy to turn the fittings by hand. Once you have the tubing (sold separately) in place on the hose barbs, add hose clamps (sold separately) for extra security.

Fill your fresh water tank and turn your water faucet on to clear the lines of air. The pump should kick on immediately, but because self-priming can take up to a minute to complete, give it a little time to start producing water at the faucet.

Works great!

by:

Quiet! Direct replacement for original 11 year old Shurflo, which was still working but very loud.

by:

fast shipping great service

by:

Easy install and much quieter than original pump.

by:

Little noisy but has good pressure.
>Thanks,

by:

no problems after one year This is the 3rd pump on a 2023 coachman leprechaun .The other pump brands allowed water to fill fresh water tank when connected to city water

by:

Great product, shipping and customer ca re.

by:

Good replacement for the old Shureflo pump in my rv. Retro fitted exact and seems to work just as well as the old one - maybe slightly quieter and slightly less expensive than the shureflo. I also appreciate that it came with a new filter & a few pipe fittings. Lesson learned, don’t forget to winterize your coach because valves & pumps are what spring leaks not not necessarily simple plumbing lines! I do like the 4 year warranty on this one…working great so far.

by:

Customer service was excellent, easy to install. Very happy customer

by:

Direct fit for the replacement. No adjustments required

by:

This was an easy swap install for the OEM pump. It was not easy to get to the install location, but that is not the fault of the pump. It is much quieter than the original. Hoping for some longevity too.

by:

My pump took a dump. Jerry B was so helpful and got the new pump to me the following day. Fifteen minutes later, I had water and a super quiet pump. Thanks etrailer!

by:

I had no trouble whatsoever swapping this out with the later pump that I had. Just wish that the hookup to the faucet was as easy, lol!

by:

Replaced my 2nd Surflo that died after causing a racket for a year. The Seaflo works perfectly. Silent, comes on when you need it only.

by:

Exact replacement for OEM Shureflo, actually much quieter than the original pump.
Super quick delivery and reasonable shipping fees.

by:

I paid for expedited shipping. My product showed up on time. I really liked how after I ordered the product I got a email that gave me an in-depth update on my order status along with a name for who was packing my order and a name for who was shipping my order out along with a contact number just in case I had and questions.

by:

I BOUGHT IT AS A SPARE FOR OUR 5TH WHEEL ITS IN STORAGE COMPARTMENT

by:

I bought this to replace a near 10 year old pump that didn't really get a ton of use... Install is very simple, assuming your pump is in a place with enough room to get your hands into. I haven't gotten to use it yet, but I did turn the pump on and back off to make sure it worked before fully installing it. To note, there will be water in the pump when you receive it. Not because it's used, but because it was tested.

I came here via "All About RV's" YT Chanel and Jared's recommendation for this pump. We don't use the pump much, but as long as it sticks around for another 10 years, we will be happy with it!

by:

Changed from the factory Sureflow to this seaflow pump and accumulator combo. Made a noticeable difference in the noise and smoothness of water flow. Happy with the plug and Play solution and works really well for my needs.

by:

I replaced the stock water pump in my 2020 Heartland Wilderness with this Series 42. Jared from the “All About RV’s” YouTube channel recently did a review/comparison of 7 or 8 different water pumps. This one was at the top of his list for both performance and noise level. I have to agree, the pressure and volume are noticeably better than my stock unit, even when it was new. Install was a direct swap as well(no mods required). If you’re looking for a replacement unit, I would definitely consider this one.

by:

Great replacement for the SureFlo pump that finally quit. This one has the same fittings and mounting set up so it installed easily. Also requires the same amp fuse so no changes there either. Always satisfied when ordering from eTeailer.

by:

I installed the pump in my Airstream Globetrotter 30rbt as a replacement for the original and it fits perfectly. Water pressure is outstanding and check valve operates correctly and I would buy this pump again and recommend it to others. The water connections lined up exactly and it's much quieter than the original pump.

by:

Direct replacement for the original that came in our 2018 Winnebago Sunstar 32YE. It is way more quiet. The original pump was very loud and sounded like a motorcycle was running in the storage compartment when using the bathroom sink. Now when using the bathroom sink the sound from the water running is louder than the actual pump noise. The pressure is very good too. Very happy with it so far.

by:

Install pump with hose kit and though they say not needed, I added an expansion tank nice steady pressure. Cannot hear the pump run found. I could run the shower and opening clothes an additional faucet and I’m really not seeing a drop in pressure very happy and it’s so quiet.

Hey David, welcome back! The Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs item # SE58FR is going to be our best replacement option we have for your Shurflo 4900-0201. Hey Matt, thanks for reaching out! I've done some searching but I'm not finding a specific kit to connect the Seaflo Accumulator Tank # SE38FR and Seaflo Diaphragm Pump # SE57FR together. With that being said, we do have an installation video I've linked to this page, and in that video, Adam uses the following parts to fit the two pieces together: - Valterra PTFE Thread Seal Tape # A05-0265 - Derale Stainless Steel Hose Clamps # D13008 - Valterra PVC Tubing # W01-1600PB Do you think...

Hey Pam, welcome back! To replace your Pentair Shurflo Revolution 4008 Series By-Pass Pump, I recommend the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs item # SE57FR. This is a 12v powered three gallon per minute pump that is rated up to 55 psi. It works with up to four fixtures at once and has the same 1/2"-14 MNPT port sizes so it'll be an easy swap out. • Quiet Replacement Fresh Water Pump
Hey Jeff! For a quiet fresh water pump I recommend the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump # SE57FR. The Seaflo uses variable-flow operation, so it does not hard cycle on and off like a standard demand pump. That gives you smoother water flow with less vibration and pump noise. It is comparable to an indoor electric fan and uses a semi-rigid rubber base to help minimize vibration transfer. Hey John, welcome back! The closest match to your Flojet 03526144 is actually the Lippert Flow Max RV Water Pump # LC689052. Your Flojet is rated for 12V, 2.9 GPM, and 50 psi, while the Flow Max is 12V, 3 GPM, and 50 psi. However, the Seaflo # SE57FR you were looking at will also safely replace your Flojet. It has the same 3 GPM flow rate but runs at a slightly higher 55 psi which won't hurt anything. If it were me, I would get the Seaflo and save myself some money. It is just as reliable...

  • Do I Need to Install A Check Valve After The Seaflo SE57FR Water Pump?
Hello Ken, Great question. No, you do not need to install a separate check valve after the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump # SE57FR. The pump has a built-in check valve that prevents city water pressure from flowing backward through the pump and into the fresh water tank. As long as the pump is installed correctly, the internal check valve is designed to handle this function on its own, so an additional check valve is not required when switching between the onboard water system and a city water...

  • I Just Replaced My SEAFLO Pump So Do I Need to Recheck the Accumulator Pressure?
Hello Todd, Nice job upgrading your setup with the SEAFLO # SE57FR pump and the # SE38FR accumulator, that’s a solid combo. The accumulator tank comes pre-charged to about 10 psi from the factory, but it’s really important to check and adjust that pressure whenever you replace or change your pump. That’s because the correct pre-charge depends on your pump’s pressure switch settings, basically, when the pump turns on and off. Your # SE57FR pump typically kicks on around 30 psi and shuts...

Hi Dorothy, The Seaflo Diaphragm Pump # SE58FR would be a compatible replacement for your Shurflo 4008-101-F65, but it has a lower psi rating so you'd see a bit of a drop in pressure. Instead I recommend going with the Seaflo # SE57FR. This unit has a 3.0GPM, 55 psi rating, and operates on 12v DC power. Everything I can find on the 4008-101-F65 shows it being 12v DC but we can clear up any confusion by checking where it gets power from. If it runs to the battery or to a fused port on...

  • What is Difference Between Seaflow Water Pumps # SE57FR and the # SE96FR
Hey Chuck, the big difference between the SeaFlo water pumps part # SE57FR and the # SE96FR is that the # SE57FR is designed to run on 12 volt power like from a battery and the part # SE96FR instead runs on AC power and would plug into a wall outlet. Aside from that the specs are pretty similar. What type of electric power do you have available for a water pump?
