Question:

What is the recommended length of lug nut that is compatible with this wheel LH29FR? I purchased this wheel as a spare and tried to mount on my trailer with the existing 1 1/2inch lugs that came with the trailer these are similar to item LHLR103. I could not fully tighten as I ran out of space with my lug wrench. I assume something longer like item 12CLN-L would work better, but was hoping to confirm.

There are a few options when it comes to lug nuts, and the correct length will be dependent on the tools you have available and the length of your wheel studs.

For the Castle Rock ST225/75R15 Radial Tire w/ 15" Liger Aluminum Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR D - Black
Item # LH29FR you should not have a problem with your 1-1/2" long lug nuts, but you will need to use a low-profile lug nut socket that fits inside of the lug nut hole on the wheel to get it torque down. You can pick one up from your local auto parts store.

Depending on how much additional length you need to get the lug nut torqued you be able to use the # 12CLN-L which are 1/4" longer and give your additional area for the lug nut wrench to fit on.
