Weight Distribution Solution for Trailer with Propane Tanks Above Trailer Frame

Updated 05/26/2021 | Published 05/24/2021

Question:

my new Winnebago 2529R rv trailer trailer has the frame blocked from 16 to 27.5inch due to the propane tanks . Any workaround this problem the specs call for a 24inch to 27inch position for the sway control brackets.

Since you have propane tanks above your RV frame in the location that the spring bar hangers would need to install you'd want to use a system that instead uses chains like the part # RP66131 for how the bars attach to the frame hangers and then instead use bolt on brackets like the # RP58305 which attaches to the side of the frame and does not require clearance above the truck frame.
