Helper Spring Recommendation for 2019 Mercedes Sprinter 2500

Im trying to improve the ride on 2WD 2500 Sprinter Upfitted Van and deal with the additional weight that is being added to the van interior mostly in the middle section of the van - in your response you mention sumo springs but your link is to super stabilizer sway bar and control kit - I dont see a SKU specifically for sumo springs except for the 4WD recommendation ... what will help handle a heavier load and smoother ride for 2WD just the sway bar or additional springs too? Will this system increase the height of the van and will tires also need to be altered? Currently use All Weather ... All Terrain ...

You're correct, the SumoSprings Rebel such as part # SSR-327-47-2 is compatible with 4WD vehicles only. For a 2WD vehicle, I'd recommend the SumoSprings Solo, part # SSR-330-47 which would add 900 lbs of support for your payload. For a higher capacity, up to 1650 lbs of support, go with the SuperSprings
# SSA11MTKT. Both systems will add support and reduce shock as well as minimizing sway.

The SumoSprings Solo mentioned above won't alter the factory ride height while the SuperSprings
# SSA11MTKT will. The # SSA11MTKT has two height settings, the lower set of holes will raise ride height by 1-2 inches, while using the upper set of holes will raise the ride height by 2-3 inches. You shouldn't need to change your tire size.

The SumoSpring solo will offer some resistance to body roll and sway, while the # SSA11MTKT SuperSprings would provide more resistance which is important in a taller vehicle like the Sprinter. I'd recommend going with the option that provides more support and resistance to sway and body roll, which would be the # SSA11MTKT.

Since this system offers good performance when it comes to resisting sway, you shouldn't need an additional anti-sway bar.

Hi Tim; the correct SuperSprings for your 2007 Winnebago are the #SSA11MTKT. These will help reduce the sway you're experiencing and also add extra support to prevent sagging.

Hello David. I double checked with Hellwig and they confirmed that the Hellwig 7772 Sway bar part #HE54FR will indeed fit the 2023 and 2024 Sprinter 2500 with AWD.
