Changing hitch is not an option. Is there a class 2 hitch attachment that will work for my needs?

I have a solution for you.

First, though, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE, part # HLY84FR, is capable of handling your bikes. However, it requires a Class III hitch.

The good news is that we have a Class III hitch available for your 2021 Tesla Model Y. It's the Draw-Tite Max Frame, part # DT58MR. This has a tongue weight of 525 pounds, so you'll have no problem with a rack and heavy bikes.

There is not an attachment for bike racks to make them work for hitches that do not meet the class requirements. The only option for you to carry your bike is to upgrade your hitch. This is because of how heavy your bike is. Only two of our bike racks can handle that weight, and they both require a Class III hitch. You may be able to speak with your dealer to stop them from putting on your hitch so that you can use a higher-rated aftermarket one.
