Is this the best recomendation for a mat to stop a truck camper from sliding around?

The BedRug XLT Truck Bed Mat, part # XLTBMQ15SCS, is not designed to provide traction for a truck bed camper. It may have that effect, but there is no guarantee it will work.
Instead, you should be sure to use your truck's compatible camper tie-downs.
If you let me know what truck you have, I can help you find the proper tie-downs.
