Question:

Can I mount this to my palomino ss-550 truck camper? I sent an email to Forest River asking the same question but no response. I want to add this to my pop up camper. Can it be done?

The Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning, # RR33100 installs in the top channels of a roof racks' crossbar or on a Pioneer platform. You will need to have something of this type in place on your camper for it mount to. We have the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount, # Y01-140B if you do not already have a roof rack installed. This will provide the needed tracks on the roof of your camper and cross bars with t-slots for the Batwing to mount into.

Because the standard poles of the Batwing are 7 feet tall, you may want to add the Long Pole Set for Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning, # RR52FJ. This option provides extra height and can extend to 10-3/4'.
