How can I tell if my ever chill in 2021Springdale is frost free? Mine is forming ice in it on back of freezer

Your Everchill refrigerator should have came with a owner's manual that will state whether or not it's frost free. Most newer refrigerators are frost free by utilizing an auto-defrost system. The Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer - 10 Cu Ft - 12V - Stainless Steel Item # 324-000119 is one of the models with this system.

If you're still having ice form in the back of your freezer I recommend unplugging the fridge and leaving the doors open and fully defrosting the fridge to start off at a good base to diagnose the issue. From there I would check the gasket on the door because it could be dirty or have a defect causing the seal to fail. Some fridges don't properly seal or can pop back open if you don't firmly close them and ensure that no items inside are pushing it open.

You could also have a bad heating element in the defrost system or a clogged drain line. Most refrigerators have a drain line for moisture that runs into a drain pan inside the fridge and if the line get's clogged it can cause a build up of ice and eventually cause the fridge to not cool and overheat. If you're still under warranty I would contact the manufacturer and have them take a look at your fridge to avoid voiding your warranty.
