Question:

I have a 2021 RAM 2500 Limited 4x4 Cummins 6’4” bed and am interested in an Anderson gooseneck hitch 3200?. Can you tell me if one of there products is compatible withe the RAM OEM puck system? If I can’t use the OEM puck system for safety chains, what are my alternatives? Thanks in advance.

To attach the Andersen Ultimate item # AM3200 to your 2021 Ram 2500's factory tow package you will need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch item # C29BR. The Anderson hitch attaches to industry standard rails and this adapter will provide you with them. Anderson hitches do not have the ability to mount inside the factory puck systems so a set up like this will be your only option.

You will then need to use the Andersen Ultimate Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks item # RM3230. The two eyelet bolts included with the safety chains will replace the king pin coupler bolts that ship with the Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection. The other ends with the hooks will need to attach to the 5th wheel rails using the Curt Safety-Chain Loops for Gooseneck Hitches on 5th Wheel Rails item # C16000.
