How To Remove Bolts For Trailer Hitch Receiver That Were Installed In Frame With A Fish Wire
Updated 05/03/2021 | Published 04/29/2021 >
Question:
After a fish wire bolt installation which seems to be a one-way operation, how exactly would you get these bolts out of the frame should you decide to uninstall the hitch? ive never seen this addressed.

Typically when people remove a trailer hitch receiver that uses bolts that need to be installed using a fishwire like those found on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11529 for your 2020 Hyundai Kona, they carefully remove the hitch and reinstall the nut to keep from having to completely remove the hardware.
If you would rather completely remove the hardware you can use a flexible magnet to get the bolt and washer out of the frame.
I included a video of the # C11529 being installed on a 2020 Hyundai Kona for you to take a look at.
