Do You Sell (4) of the Long HappiJac's as a Set? How Can I Get (4) Longer Ones?

Updated 02/10/2026 | Published 02/05/2026

Question:

Hello. Re truck camper turnbuckles- please look at LC182895. I can’t seem to find this same product with equal long length threaded hooks for frame-mounted tie down points. Can you advise? The application is a 2022 F350 8’ bed DRW with a Lance 1130, frame mounted tie downs front and rear. Its about 35” from point to point. I see the Torklift FastGun which does have equal length long hooks, but at $1000 I wouldn’t even consider that, it’s madness for what it is. Thanks.

Hello Josh,

I completely understand where you are coming from. When you need long, equal-length turnbuckles to span about 35 inches on a 2022 F-350 with a Lance 1130, the goal is a setup that fits cleanly, installs easily, and stays secure without having to modify anything.

I do wish HappiJac sold a set of four long turnbuckles, but unfortunately they do not. The best option within their system is to purchase four of the Replacement Rear Turnbuckles for the HappiJac Qwik-Load Turnbuckle Set # LC182896. Using all four keeps everything consistent and gives you a straightforward, no-hassle setup that works well with the frame-mounted points you already have.

Yes, the cost of the TorkLift are quite a bit more. I must say though, people do love them.

Where are you going to take the Lance for your first big camping adventure?

Aren’t the rear ones rubber bushing, not a spring though? As I understood it that’s why they make a front and rear, because they are different.

@JoshM You can use all four replacement rear Stress-Guard turnbuckles because # LC182896, at their core, they all do the same job. The Stress-Guard spring mechanism that cushions movement and protects the camper is the same, and the turnbuckles are rated to handle the same loads. The reason the standard 4-pack comes with two “front” and two “rear” turnbuckles is mostly about fit, not strength, the front tie-down points are often a different distance or angle, so those turnbuckles are sized to make adjustment easier. If the rear replacement turnbuckles still give you enough adjustment to properly tension the camper at the front without being maxed out or bottomed out, they’ll work just fine there too. What camper tie-downs are you using?

@KateF I ordered the happijac qwik ones and will make up the difference with chain, maybe eventually swap out the threaded hook for the longer ones if that gets to be too much of a pain in the ass.
