To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 you were looking at in your 2006 Ford F-450 Cab and Chassis you will need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3065-P which will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your truck, and will not require any splicing to install.

Once the adapter is plugged in, all you will need to do is mount the controller and you are ready to get on the road!

Absolutely! You can use a Curt trailer brake controller like the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # C51140 you will just need to use the Curt Wiring Adapter # C51372 instead. I included a video for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
