Question:

I recently bought a 2020 Ram 1500. I occasionally tow a 5k pound travel trailer through mainly flat terrain. I am running into problems finding one that has the wiring harness adapter available for my truck. Apparently they're not out yet? If they are out, can you give me the part number for that? Can you recommend one that is easy to operate, and isnt going to take up a ton of space causing me to constantly knock my knee into it? Im not a handy guy but have somebody who is willing to install it for me.

There are absolutely plug-in wiring adapters for a brake controller for your 2020 Ram 1500, and what you can use is the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In # C51458

Then for a brake controller that doesn't take up a lot of space use the Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV.

Where is the plug in a 2020 ram 1500 classic so I can plug in my adapter cord # 3024-p that you sent me?

The factory brake controller port on your 2020 Ram 1500 is behind the panel beneath the steering wheel, on the right hand side (near the center console). It will likely be tied/taped up and out of the way, so you will need to actually reach up there to pull it down.
