Question:
Is the ground clearance on this Curt C12013 hitch higher or lower than the Hidden Hitch 60965? A previous customer question and answer for that hitch says from the top of the mounting bracket to the bottom of the receiver measures 7-1/2 inches. Can you provide the same measurement? Thanks.

I spoke with my contact at Curt and the measurement from where the hitch mounts to the frame down to the top of the receiver is 6.69 inches on Curt trailer hitch # C12013. From the top of the receiver to the bottom is 1-3/4 inches. I have included a picture a customer submitted showing the hitch installed to give you a better idea of where it will be on the vehicle. I have also included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
If you are planning on doing some towing the recommended ball mount is # C45521. Also for a pin and clip you want # F-4. Then for a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 118386. I have included a link to the installation instructions for the wiring as well.
