Roof Rack And Tent Combo For 2000 Honda CR-V

Question:

Hi, Thanks for taking my question. The weight bearing of this product says 140lbs. Is this the dynamic weight? The goal is to put a 108lb roof top tent on my crv. Then the added weight of myself, spouse and gear would be more around 400lbs added to the 108lb tent weight. So, just over 500lbs static weight. My crv does Not have any rails. Please let me know the deals and your suggestions. Sincerely, Andrew

If you're wanting to get the Inno roof rack system on your 2000 Honda CR-V, you will need the Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB123-2, Inno Through Feet # INXS250 and the custom Fit Kit # INK146. These have a dynamic weight capacity of 165 lbs. This Yakima SkyRise Tent # Y07437 requires a minimum of 165 lbs of dynamic weight capacity.

Dynamic is the weight in motion and static is the weight when sitting still. So you will be good to put a Yakima tent on top.
