Solera Super Shade for RV Awning - Front Panel - 17foot Wide x 7foot Tall Item # LC3797820717 Wondering what is the length of the top section that stays in the awning roller tube 12” or 24”.

Adding the Solera Super Shade Item # LC3797820717 to your awning is a great idea. When installed, the only part of the shade that is on the roller, when fully extended, is the bead that secures it to the channel in the roller. It is secured to the roller the same way the awning is. When retracting your awning, the shade will roll up with your awning. Once installed you don't have to do anything but extend your awning and the shade comes out with it. It also comes with stakes and ropes to secure it to the ground if stronger winds occur.
