Water Pump And Water Tank Distance Recommendations

Question:

Is there a recommended maximum distance between the water pump faucet and the actual water tank? I didn’t see any specifics

To know the recommended max distance you would need to look at your water pump's manual to know what your pump's discharge rating is and how big your pipe is to determine the water pressure. If you're wanting to know about distance from the water pump and the tank then there should also be specs in the pump manual for that as well.

The distance horizontally is not as important between the pump and the tank but the difference in height between the pump and tank (lift) should be kept small which is not a problem usually in an RV.
