Question:

I am comparing 5 pickups. I have the window stickers for all of them. 3 have the S27 package upgrade. with the Class IV Receiver Hitch 2 show nothing on the hitch. What kind of receiver hitch would those vehicle come with ? I can find noinch info I need to know if I will have to replace the receiver on those vehicles if I buy one of them Thx

The 2019 Ram 1500 will come standard with the class 3 bumper mount style hitch. Those will be the 2 that you do not see with the hitch. They are designed for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13419 that will easily bolt to the bumper tube. You can remove that and install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41913 as well on those trucks to get a heavier duty hitch.

The Rams that already include the class 4 hitch already have a hitch similar to the Draw-Tite above. This style hitch will allow the use of a Weight Distribution Hitch # FA94-00-1061 unlike the class 3 bumper.
