Recommended Solution to Add Trailer Wiring to Ambulance with 3 Wire Lighting

Question:
We have an ambulance here that has separate turn signals and turn/brake light fixtures. We need a T one type set for a trailer hook up. that will allow for the turn signals and brake/stop lights to work on a trailer. Please help

I have a solution for you, but there is not a T-One style connector for this, so you'll need to hard wire the trailering wiring in. With that said you can use the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 119178 which will convert a 3 wire system on the tow vehicle to a 2 wire for towing a trailer. We've even got a video of this being installed on a Ford chassis ambulance that you can use as a guide for installation that I've linked to this answer.
