Location of Brake Controller Connection in 2019 Cadillac Escalade
Question:
Where is the trailer brake controller connection on my 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

Expert Reply:
The brake controller connection is in the same spot as found in the Suburban or the GM full sized trucks of that generation. It's located in a junction box behind and to the right of the emergency brake pedal. You'll need to remove the cover, and plug the connector into the socket shown in the provided photo.
If you'll be installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 you'd looked at, you'll need the # 3016 Brake Controller Wiring Harness. I've linked to a video showing the same controller being installed on a 2017 Silverado. The procedure shown in the video would be the same that's needed on your Escalade.
